Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization working to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. The Gold Beach, Oregon chapter of Soroptimist International was founded in 1979 and is dedicated to making a difference in the local community.
Mission Statement
The mission of Soroptimist International of Gold Beach, Oregon is to provide women with access to the education and training they need to achieve their full potential, improve their economic status, and live healthy and productive lives.
Programs and Services
The Gold Beach chapter offers a variety of programs and services designed to empower women and girls, including:
* Live Your Dream Awards: Financial assistance to low-income women who are pursuing higher education.
* Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls: A program that provides girls in middle and high school with mentorship, workshops, and career exploration opportunities.
